Water truck delivery and other fees It has traditionally been MMWC’s practice, to the extent it has available resources, to deliver water by truck in reasonable quantities to affected customers’ cisterns when a main is frozen or broken.  MMWC generally delivers the water for free if normal water delivery is impeded by a problem, such as a frozen main, for which MMWC is responsible.  If the problem is due to a freeze in the user’s float valve, cistern, or service line, the user shall be charged $50/delivery.  Also, excessively frequent water delivery requests will result in either a refused delivery or an additional $50/charge per excessive delivery.  Understand MMWC’s limits on the timing and frequency of such deliveries.  See MMWC’s August 10, 2010 Resolution Regarding Water Delivered by Truck. For other labor incurred where the customer is responsible, the customer will be charged $50/hour, unless heavy equipment is involved, in which case the charge will be $100/hour.
